Reservation Fee: A reservation fee is required at the time of booking to secure your tour. This fee is processed via credit card, Maya online payment (a trusted Philippines online payment system), PayPal, or other accepted methods.
Payment Terms: The reservation fee will be deducted from the total cost of the tour. The remaining balance is due as specified during the booking process. Additional transaction fees (if any), such as convenience fees or percentages charged by the credit card company, are shouldered by the payer and will be stated during the payment process.
Pricing: Prices listed on the Website are per person or group, depending on the tour selected. Prices are subject to change without notice; however, any changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
Cancellations by Guests: Once a booking is confirmed and the reservation fee is paid, cancellations by guests are not permitted. This is because the reservation fee is used to arrange and coordinate essential aspects of the tour, including securing permits with the Office of Tourism, coordinating with local boat operators, and reserving slots with the Local Government Unit (LGU). These arrangements involve advance payments and commitments that are non-refundable to us.
Non-Refundable Reservation Fee: The reservation fee is non-refundable. Due to the nature of our services and the costs incurred immediately after booking, we are unable to offer refunds on reservation fees. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and accept that the reservation fee is non-refundable in all circumstances.
Cancellations by the Company: We reserve the right to cancel or modify your tour due to circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen events. In the event of bad weather, we will replace the island hopping tour with an alternative activity, such as an inland tour, as recommended by the Office of Tourism. This ensures you still experience the beauty of Palawan, even if weather conditions prevent island hopping. We will notify you promptly of any changes.
Refunds: Refunds of the reservation fee are generally not available unless the cancellation is made by us due to circumstances that prevent us from offering any alternative tour or activity. In such rare cases, we may offer a partial refund or credit for a future tour.
Inclusions: Each tour’s inclusions will be clearly listed on the Website and in your booking confirmation. Typical inclusions may cover transport, guide services, meals, entrance fees, and use of equipment (e.g., snorkeling gear).
Exclusions: Certain expenses such as personal travel insurance, tipping, or additional purchases during the tour (e.g., souvenirs) may not be included unless explicitly stated.
We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers activities such as island hopping, snorkeling, and other adventure sports. Palawan Island Tours is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or losses that may occur during the tour.
Health Requirements: It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health and physically capable of participating in your chosen tour. Certain tours may involve physical activity such as swimming, hiking, or walking on uneven terrain. If you have any medical conditions, please inform us in advance so we can make the necessary accommodations.
Safety Precautions: All our tours follow strict safety protocols, and our guides are trained to handle emergencies. We require that all guests follow the instructions of our guides to ensure their safety. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the activity without refund.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct travel documents, such as identification, visas, or permits, where applicable. Palawan Island Tours is not responsible for any consequences arising from improper or missing documentation.
Personal Responsibility: While we take every precaution to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, guests participate in tours at their own risk. Palawan Island Tours is not liable for any personal injuries, loss of belongings, or unforeseen circumstances that may occur during the tour.
Force Majeure: We are not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, or government regulations.
Consent: During your tour, we may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. By participating in our tours, you agree to allow Palawan Island Tours to use these images for marketing purposes on our website and social media platforms.
Opt-Out: If you do not wish to be photographed or featured in any media, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information (e.g., name, email, payment details) is collected and processed solely for the purpose of booking and conducting your tour. We do not share your data with third parties, except where necessary to fulfill your booking (e.g., with local tour operators).
